Hei, sinä sirkusammattilainen!
Olemme opettajia ja tutkijoita Tampereen yliopiston Kasvatustieteiden ja kulttuurin tiedekunnasta. Johdamme Erasmus+-rahoitteista eurooppalaisen nuoriso- ja sosiaalisen sirkuksen opettajankoulutuksen opetussuunnitelman laadintaa.
Ymmärtääksemme paremmin sirkuskenttää tutkimme sirkustyötä tekevien merkityksellisiä kokemuksia työssään. Toivomme saavamme tähän liittyviä tekstejä sirkuksen eri tehtävissä toimivilta henkilöiltä.
Kirjoita sellaisista käänteen tekevistä kokemuksista, joiden seurauksena oma toimintasi on jollakin tavoin muuttunut. Kyseessä voi olla yksittäinen kokemus, pidempiaikainen kehityskaari tai mikä tahansa episodi, jonka itse koet merkittävänä.
Tekstin pituus voi vaihdella, kieli voi olla suomi, ruotsi tai englanti. Kirjoitukset tulevat pelkästään tutkimuskäyttöön ja niitä käsitellään anonyymisti.

Dear Circus Professional,
We are university teachers and researchers from the Faculty of Education and Culture, Tampere University, Finland. We are in charge of planning the European teacher education curriculum for youth and social circus, funded by Erasmus+.
To better understand circus work, we are conducting a study of circus professionals’ remarkable experiences in their circus work.
Please write to us about the groundbreaking experiences or turning points that led to some kind of a change in your own action. It can be a single experience, a trajectory (a pathway or a line of development over your life span) or whatever episode you feel is remarkable.
All kinds of texts from people working in various circus tasks are welcome – no matter what the length of the text is. The languages used can be English, Finnish or Swedish.
The texts will be used only for research purposes. The identity of the writer or the name of the circus will be confidential. We would appreciate if the writers’ task/-s in the circus and a short circus CV are added to the text.
This research is being conducted according to the guidelines of the Finnish Advisory Board on Research Integrity (TENK). Especially relevant for this study is that these guidelines include voluntary participation and participant anonymity.
